Sydney Lucas

I am originally from Vancouver, BC, but married an American and ended up  in Houston, Texas…which is wild for this Canadian ya’ll!  A passionate traveler, I enjoy visiting friends and family across Canada and trying new food and wine across Europe or a relaxing on a beach somewhere. Thankfully these kinds of things are possible with my little one because of consistent sleep. My world revolves around my loved ones: my rescue dog Lexi, my husband John, and my son Maverick, born in February 2021.

I have been in your position!

I know how defeating, exhausting and frustrating sleep can be when nothing seems to be going right.  As my son Maverick reached six months old, achieving restful sleep became increasingly difficult. He was my miracle baby via IVF and both his birth and his first few months were full of unexpected struggles, and sleep was building up to be one of them.

Upon a friend's recommendation, I reached out to a sleep coach. I was astounded by Maverick's rapid progress and how significantly it reduced stress in our lives. Having a dedicated consultant to provide a structured plan, 1-on-1 support (and a shoulder to cry on!) and accountability made a world of difference. Soon, everyone in the household, including our dog, was enjoying better sleep than we had imagined possible.

My positive experience with sleep coaching ignited a passion to support others. Dedicated to transforming surviving families into thriving ones, I bring empathy and optimism to my consulting. I offer realistic solutions and a personalized approach, acting not just as a coach but as a supportive cheerleader and friend. I am committed to helping you achieve real results and equipping families with lifelong skills tailored to their unique lifestyles. I find joy in helping families achieve balanced, healthier lives through quality sleep and am eager to share the transformative benefits of the Babes Who Sleep approach.

what other mamas are saying…

No sleep training is without crying. But you do not let them cry it out with Sydney’s method. She gives you tools depending on your baby's age to go into the room and be in the room to let your baby know ''mommy and daddy are here and you are safe and you got this''. She has also taught us to learn his cries. Night one was the hardest but we are on day 3 of sleeping entirely through the night now. He is napping better and eating better too!

I just want to thank you! I cannot imagine traveling across the globe with a baby that doesn't sleep well! She didn't sleep well during travel but since arriving she has slept like a champ in 4 different environments and without a fuss too! I can't imagine how stressed I would be if she wasn't able to sleep well in so many different and new places while we visit family for a month.

We have completed our program and beyond thankful! Sydney supported us and provided us with a program that worked for our entire family. Our daughter no longer requires us to help her to sleep and sleeps in her crib for the entire night. Thank you Sydney for all your help and support!
